v164.0 - Release Notes

Updated yesterday

New Enhancements Now Available:

Interim Servicing Module

  • A new Servicing tab is now available in the loan editor, providing a centralized hub for post-closing loan servicing. Phase 1 includes payment recording with auto-calculated principal, interest, and escrow breakdowns. Phase 2 adds escrow disbursement tracking. Phase 3 provides an interaction log for borrower communications. Phase 4 delivers summary cards and overview dashboards. HELOC and HELOAN loan types are fully supported with interest-only payment schedules and remaining balance tracking.

Universal Search Command Palette

  • A new command palette is now available in the loan editor. Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to instantly search and navigate to any tab, section, field, borrower, liability, asset, income, or loan action. Results are organized by category β€” Navigation, Fields, Records, and Loan Actions β€” with fuzzy matching and keyboard navigation. Selecting a result takes you directly to that item and highlights it on screen. A search icon in the loan editor header also provides quick access.

Pricing Enhancements

  • The pricing search request now includes the loan-level AUS type (e.g., DU, LP) when available, ensuring more accurate program results. A new company property allows setting a default AUS type.

  • Compensation type is now included in pricing search filters for more precise program selection.

  • Admins can now map external PPE product IDs (e.g., OptimalBlue) to internal Optimus programs. When a mapping exists, loan options are automatically enriched with internal program data including program identifiers and investor feature codes.

Fees & Impounds

  • Lenders can now apply one or more credits (Lender, Seller, or Other) to individual fees. Credit amounts automatically redistribute between borrower-paid and the appropriate payer bucket. Credits are visible in both view and edit modes.

  • When a fee payee changes to a sub-contractor of the original provider, closers can now override the fee section placement to keep the fee in Section B instead of it automatically moving to Section C.

  • LodeStar fees now properly map borrower-paid and seller-paid amounts to the corresponding fee columns based on the LodeStar response arrays.

  • Impound months from the LE calculation now persist to impound rows. When a loan has mortgage insurance and escrow is enabled, an MI impound row is automatically created.

  • The original fee type name is now displayed below the editable fee name when editing a renamed fee, so users can see which fee type was originally selected.

  • The Add Impound button is now enabled before the First Payment Date is set, allowing users to add impound entries at any time.

  • Adding a Prepaid on the Fees page no longer requires selecting a Fee Provider.

HELOC & Loan Improvements

  • HELOC interest-only payment calculations now use the correct repayment period instead of the full loan term. The UI displays stacked payment amounts and improved program details for interest-only loans.

  • A new Original Cost field is available in the Property edit modal for refinance loans.

  • Loan Purpose determination now correctly distinguishes between Refinance and Home Equity Loan based on payoff status.

  • Existing mortgages entered by borrowers on the Point of Sale application are now visible to loan officers on the LOS. For HELOC applications, lien priorities are automatically assigned.

  • The Requested Cash Out Amount field is now editable for refinance cash-out loans, with automatic recalculation when switching to a cash-out refinance purpose.

  • Lien priorities from paid-off or payment-excluded mortgages are now available for selection on new loans, additional mortgages, and liabilities.

  • Lien Priority pre-population on the Loan Info section no longer appears as a Pending Change.

  • Escrow determination is now based entirely on configured rules rather than a hardcoded LTV threshold.

Expressions & Checklists

  • A new Spouse field is now available in the expression engine for borrowers and non-borrower entities, with properties for spouse relationship detection.

  • All Expression Engines now support all common functions (MAX_BY, WHERE, etc.) without requiring per-engine configuration.

  • Ratesheet/Prices snapshot data is now available as an expression parameter for Fee Amount and Fee Type filter expressions.

  • Checklist determination values in the loan editor now display with proper formatting based on the configured value format (Currency, Percentage, Date, Number).

Admin & Configuration

  • Admins can now duplicate an existing Security Group with all its claims and permissions. A new Duplicate button opens a dialog to name the new group, then redirects to the Claims tab for review.

  • The Consequent Milestones page now supports drag-and-drop reordering with automatic saving and consecutive order number recalculation.

  • The loan header now displays both front-end (housing expense ratio) and back-end (total) DTI values for quick reference.

  • The Sex field in User Settings and User Create now defaults to "Not Provided" and is no longer mandatory.

  • Post-closing conditions now open in a side drawer instead of a modal for improved workflow.

Real-Time Multi-User Collaboration

  • When a user saves or cancels pending changes on a loan, all other users viewing the same loan automatically see the updated data without needing to refresh the page. This prevents stale data when multiple team members work on the same loan simultaneously.

Improved Loading Indicators

  • Loading indicators during checklist recalculation on the loan editor now show a rotating icon in the tab menu instead of the full-page loader, providing a less disruptive experience.
